2-layer mokuhanga print of a cute ring-neck snake with stars. Printed by hand in a small edition of 9.

Mokuhanga is a traditional Japanese form of water-based woodblock printmaking. Rather than oil-based ink being rolled onto the surface of the carved woodblock, water soluble pigments (I used gouache and watercolor) are applied with a brush and buffed into the grain of the wood.
